- 9:30am Travel to Camp Hill Giant Super Foods
- 10am Lecture by John Bechtold on American Culture
- 11am Introduction and strategy briefing by store manager
- 6pm Messiah women's basketball game
- 8pm Messiah men's basketball game
- 10:45-12noon Church at West Shore Evangelical Free Church
- 12:15pm Lunch together at the church & tour
- 7pm Informal worship time with Dutch and Messiah business students and friends
- Martin Luther King Holiday, no classes at Messiah
- Trip to Philadelphia, all day
- 9:30am Lecture by Steve Musser
- 12:00noon Leave for tour and presentation at Knouse Foods
- 4:00pm Arrive back at Messiah
- 7-8:30pm Martin Luther King Commemoration Week Lecture: Building the Beloved Community in the Wider World. Dr. Rufus Burrow
- 8am-3:30pm Trip to Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, Allentown
- Stop at Cabala’s Outdoor Store on the way back
- 8:30-9:30pm Powerhouse–Messiah student-led worship service
- 8am-12noon Meet in class with American students
- 1-4pm Attend Advertising class of Professor David Hagenbuch
- 7:30am-8:30pm All day trip to Washington D.C.
- Stop at Mountain Gate Family Restaurant for dinner on way back to Messiah
- Dutch students attend church and lunch with members of the Messiah College community
- 6pm Spaghetti Diner with World Christian Fellowship, Agapé Center
- 8:45am Leave for tour of Harley-Davidson motorcycle manufacturing plan
- 1:30pm Lecture by Ron Webb
- 6pm Farewell Dinner
- 8am Meet in class with American students
