6:30 pm       Welcome to Messiah @Presidential Residence

8:15  pm       Powerhouse (Student-led Praise Service) at Hostetter Chapel

 

Friday, 15 January           

12:45pm       Lecture on American Culture by John Bechtold

2:00           Visit Wegmans supermarket (www.wegmans.com)

Tour and briefing by manager

               

3:15           Depart from Eisenhower Campus Center

Visit Giant supermarket (www.giantfoodstores.com)

Tour and briefing by manager

Opportunity to buy food

Brief stop at BJ's Wholesale Club store (www.bjs.com)

Social studies   Service project in SW Class. Join in a class in a service project.

7:30am        Departure from Eisenhower Campus Center               

Trip to Philadelphia (www.independencevisitorcenter.com)

All day, coffee after arrival, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, afternoon free time

Messiah hosts can sign up too; limited number

BRING IDENTIFICATION, NO KNIVES, BACKPACKS OR LARGE BAGS

You will go through a metal detector and be asked to take off watches, belts and metal objects

5pm           Depart Philadelphia; meet where we left bus

7:30          Arrive back at Messiah

8PM          Student Trombone Recital at Climenhaga Fine Arts Center

9pm           Lost Films:

11:30                 Depart for Hershey 12-02:30 lecture on Hershey and HR practices

3:00                  Visit Milton Hershey School.

8:30                  10 PM who's zoomin' Who (weekly fellowship and Bible study) at Issachar's Loft.

Social studies The students will observe a orientation session for senior student who going out on field work.

Wednesday, 20 January     

8:30                  John Bechtold's Psychology class open to all Dutch students

11:45 am           Depart from Eisenhower Center

1.00 pm            Tour Snyder's Pretzel Factory

3:30           Ski Round Top $30.00 for 4 hours (includes lift and rentals)

9:30                   Celebration at Larsen Student Union

 Social studies Joning intr Psych class. Lecture on Motivation with an emphasis on sexual motivation and homosexuality. Reading will be provided..

Thursday, 21 January

9:45am        Messiah-CHE Worship Time (Alternate Chapel), Frey 110

BUS/HRM students in class Frey 349 - Job interviewing American students

11:45am       Depart from Eisenhower Campus Center

1.00 pm            Mennonite Information Center Movie

2.00 - 5.00 pm  Tour to Amish Country

6.00 pm            Dutch groups 6 - 9 Amish Dinner at the Fishers

6.00 pm            Dutch groups 1 - 5 return to Campus

8:15 PM       Powerhouse (Student-led Praise Service) at Hostetter Chapel

Social studies Psych class in the morning: Lecture on Emotions, Stress and Health, Reading provided.

Friday, 22 January

4.00 pm       Depart from Eisenhower Campus Center - Groups 1 - 5

5.30 pm             Amish Dinner at the Fishers

9.00 pm             Arrive back at Messiah

7 & 9:30pm  Lost Films:

Social studies Joining a SW class and another field trip in the morning.

Saturday, 23 January

Trip to Washington D.C. including Arlington Cemetery

Messiah students can sign up to go; limited number
