Jan Lok

I am Jan Lok, one of two faculty members from Holland.
It is a privilige to come to Messiah College for already the fifth time. A good opportunity to strengthen some 'old' relationships.
I have to realize a triple 'duty' during the two weeks of my presence. I really love to accompany and 'coach' the Dutch students. I am excited about the course Hendrie and I have to teach about 'Doing business in Europe'. I hope the 15 attending American students are as excited as I am. And I have a role as a kind of ambassador, representing Holland and in particular my college: Ede Christian University.
If you really want to know my hobby: it is contemporary alternative gospel music, expecially American. It has to be a little weird (as I am). You want to hear an example... Check Sixteen Horsepower.

God bless you
Jan

This will be the third time I visit the US and Messiah College. After the good experiences of last times, the nice people and friends I met, I'm looking forward to being there again. At the time of arrival I'll be 33 years old. I'm married with my lovely wife Adriana and we live in Utrecht. The courses I teach at the CHE are Business Ethics, European Integration and some sociology related courses. I graduated in Human Geography/International Economics and since a couple of months I also got my Masters in Theology.
Hope to meet you at Messiah.
